We’re excited to welcome athletes and families to our program! While final details will be confirmed once age and team placement are determined, below is a general overview of what to expect throughout the season.
Season Timeline
Our season runs from mid-July through mid-November.
For teams that qualify for postseason:
• Regionals take place in mid-November
• Nationals (if advancing) are typically held in early December in Orlando
Practice Schedule
Cheer:
• Before school begins:
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 6:00–8:00 PM (location TBD)
• After school begins:
Tuesday & Thursday | 6:00–8:00 PM
Saturday | 9:00–11:00 AM (indoors, location TBD)
Football:
• Practice schedules will follow a similar evening structure during the week
• All football practices are held outdoors (weather permitting)
Practice days and times may adjust slightly based on team level and scheduling needs.
Competitions & Games
• Cheer: Athletes typically participate in 3–8 competitions per season, depending on age level. Most are local, with travel required only if advancing to Regionals/Nationals.
• Football: Teams will compete in regular season games, with opportunities to advance to postseason play.
Time Commitment
Athletes can expect an average of approximately 6 hours per week.
Please note that schedules may occasionally shift due to games or competitions.
Attendance Expectations
We understand our athletes have lives, responsibilities, and other commitments. However, attendance at practices is mandatory to ensure team success, safety, and consistency.
Only excused absences will be permitted, including:
• Illness
• Family emergencies
• Other significant, unavoidable situations
Consistent attendance is essential, as missed practices can impact both individual development and the team as a whole.
Parent Involvement
Parent involvement is minimal and optional, with opportunities available for those who would like to volunteer and support the program.
Fundraising
To help offset the cost of operating the program (practice space, equipment, etc.):
• Two in-season fundraisers are required
• If a team advances to postseason, an additional fundraiser may be held to help with travel expenses
